Trust is the entire product. These rules are how we keep it — and they don't bend for revenue.
No operator can pay to change, improve, suppress or reorder a score, ranking, review figure or filed term — not through advertising, listings, sponsorship, partnership, or any other arrangement. There is no product we sell, now or later, that buys a better number.
Capital Back is computed from each village's statutory Disclosure Statement under a published, versioned methodology; the Life Score from operator and directory data under its own published rubric. The same rules apply to every village. Where data is missing, we say "not stated" or "no data yet" — we don't guess, and missing data never counts against a village.
If we ever carry paid listings (for example, a village advertising its available units) or disclosed sponsorship, those buy placement of factual inventory, clearly labelled — never influence over editorial content, scores or rankings, which remain unchanged beside them. Lead introductions to lawyers and advisers are made only to professionals with no operator funding.
Before we publish any new class of named-operator financial claim, operators get the chance to respond. Any operator who believes a published figure misreads their filed documents can request a review at any time.
When we get something wrong, we correct it as soon as it's verified, recompute anything the error touched, and note material corrections on the affected page. Being correctable is part of being credible.
Every village page states where its information comes from: the statutory Disclosure Statement for money, operators and Village Guide for lifestyle, AgedAdvisor for resident ratings. When a new data layer ships, its source ships with it.
